Efficient Middle Reading Distance 125KHz Card Reader for Parking Systems
1. When a card enters the inductive range of one reader and its ID is captured, adjacent readers will not duplicate the reading. This innovative feature effectively addresses interference issues posed by other readers, ensuring seamless operation.

3. Our boom barrier system utilizes the 125k middle range GP99 card reader, which boasts an IP54 waterproof rating. It performs superbly even in inclement weather, negating the need for additional accessories and offering substantial cost savings while delivering an exceptional user experience.
4. The 125k reader with the GP99 card is designed for parking system applications, integrating the loop inductive function. It can be paired with our vehicle loop detector, enabling cards to function when vehicles are on loops. This connectivity ensures heightened reliability and stability across the entire system for specialized applications.
Obtaining The Best Reading Range
To achieve the optimal advertised reading range, employ high-quality RFID cards and install the reader in environments free from metal and noise.
The caliber of RFID cards plays a critical role in determining the reader's reach. Subpar cards can dramatically reduce the range by up to 50%. Conversely, using specialized 'thick' RFID cards, which incorporate coils with numerous turns, can extend the GP99 reader's range beyond the standard 90-130cm.
Operating at a main frequency of 125Khz, the reader may experience interference from regular CRT monitors. These devices produce noise within the same frequency band, potentially disrupting the reader's functioning. Other 125Khz RFID readers can also influence the range from several meters away. The GP99 is equipped with a special command to assess current noise levels - refer to section 9 for detailed guidance.
To avoid interference from metal objects, refrain from installing the reader on metal surfaces or near metal grids within concrete walls. While the Middle Reading Distance 125KHz Card Reader for Parking System GP99 includes advanced auto-tuning circuitry to adjust for metal presence (refer to section 7), the most effective reading range is achieved in a metal-free environment.
