Ground-sensing technology in the form of toroidal coil vehicle detectors is a classic and extensively used traffic detection system worldwide. These systems, often buried, represent the largest volume of detection equipment in existence.
 

The embedded toroidal coil type vehicle detector consists of a regulated power supply, oscillating coil, logic circuit, microprocessor, interface, driving circuit, signal output circuit, and induction coil, ensuring comprehensive and reliable vehicle detection.
 

Loop Detector With Large Sensing Range

The JUTAI LD-100/102 series vehicle detectors boast an impressive adaptive sensing range from 15 uh to 2000 uh, effectively detecting a wide variety of vehicles from small electric cars to large trucks. To avoid unnecessary hardware costs and material waste, it is recommended to set the inductance around 300 uh, with coil dimensions of 1 meter wide and 2 meters long, completing 8-10 turns. This setup can easily detect all vehicle types, enhancing installation efficiency. For optimal results, adjust coil size according to the specific dimensions of entry and exit channels. JUTAI vehicle detectors offer extraordinary adaptability, capable of detecting nearly all vehicle types, including motorcycles, cars, large trucks, heavy container trucks, super long vehicles, and forklifts. This versatility allows customers to use the loop detector for a variety of applications, effectively managing diverse vehicle types at entry and exit points.


Fault Detection Function:
JUTAI vehicle detector features advanced fault detection output capabilities. When the loop detector identifies a coil fault or other issues (excluding relay faults), the B relay outputs a signal, triggering the connected warning light to flash or sound an alarm. This alert allows for timely and convenient maintenance or replacement, and after a brief period, the B relay automatically resets, allowing the loop detector to resume normal operation. This proactive feature enables customers to schedule maintenance at their convenience without immediate disruption. In contrast, other market products simply cease operation upon detecting a fault, necessitating immediate and often inconvenient maintenance, leading to increased complaints and higher after-sales service costs for installers.

Detector Position And Installation

1. Ensure the detector is installed within a weatherproof housing.

2. Position the detector as close as possible to the sensing loop.

3. Always avoid installing the detector near strong magnetic fields.

4. High voltage wires should not be run near loop detectors to avoid interference.

5. Avoid mounting the detector on objects that are prone to vibrations.

6. For installations where the control box is within 10 meters of the loop, standard wires can be used for connection. For distances beyond 10 meters, use a 2-core shielded cable. Ensure the control box is not more than 30 meters from the loop.
