Product Descriptions
The ground sensor, or toroidal coil type vehicle detector, represents a classic in traffic detection technology. Primarily a buried detection system, it remains the most prevalently used detection equipment globally today.
The embedded toroidal coil type vehicle detector is intricately composed of a regulated power supply, an oscillating coil, a logic circuit, a microprocessor, an interface, a driving circuit, a signal output circuit, an induction coil, among other components.
Loop Detector With Large Sensing Range
JUTAI LD-100/102 series vehicle detectors feature an extensive sensing range, adaptable from 15 uh to 2000 uh, effortlessly detecting a variety of vehicles including small electric vehicles, motorcycles, conventional cars, trucks, and trailers. However, utilizing loop coils with values reaching 2000 uh necessitates a significant amount of high-temperature wire (Model: JTHT-11), potentially leading to material waste and increased project costs. Typically, setting the inductance around 300 uh, with a coil size of 1 meter wide and 2 meters long with 8-10 turns, can effectively detect all vehicle types. For efficient installation, initially create a loop coil of 1m x 2m with 10 turns, measure the inductance using a multimeter, and adjust the coil size based on the parking entry/exit channel dimensions. Smaller coils require more turns, while larger coils require fewer turns, enhancing flexibility across various entrance sizes and improving overall installation efficiency. JUTAI vehicle detectors are capable of identifying nearly all vehicle types in the market, including motorcycles, cars, large trucks, heavy container trucks, super long vehicles, and forklifts. This versatility allows users to employ our loop detectors seamlessly across various entrance and exit points, ensuring robust adaptability and efficient management of diverse vehicle types.
Fault Detection Function:
The JUTAI Inductive Loop Vehicle Detector is engineered with an advanced fault detection output. When the loop detector encounters a coil fault or other issues (excluding relay faults), the B relay initiates a signal. This triggers the connected warning light to flash or sound an alarm, indicating a need for dimensional checks or replacements. Remarkably, after a few minutes, the B relay automatically resets, allowing the loop detector to resume function. This affords customers ample time to schedule maintenance, unlike many market alternatives that cease operation upon fault detection, necessitating immediate intervention. This proactive feature minimizes end-user complaints and reduces high after-sales maintenance costs, thereby preserving the installer's reputation.
Detector Position And Installation
1. Ensure the detector is housed in a weatherproof enclosure.
2. Position the detector as close to the sensing loop as feasible.
3. Always install the detector away from strong magnetic fields.
4. Avoid routing high voltage wires near the loop detectors.
5. Refrain from installing the detector on vibrating surfaces.
6. When the control box is within 10 meters of the loop, standard wires are adequate for connection. For distances beyond 10 meters, utilize a 2-core shielded cable, ensuring the distance does not exceed 30 meters between the control box and the loop.
