Product Descriptions
An inductive loop detector is an advanced electromagnetic communication system or traditional traffic detection mechanism that predominantly utilizes buried coils and moving magnets to generate an electric current. It stands as the world's most extensively deployed traffic detection device.
The embedded toroidal coil type vehicle detector primarily consists of a regulated power supply, an oscillating coil, a logic circuit, a microprocessor, an interface, a driving circuit, a signal output circuit, and an induction coil, among other components.
A vehicle detector operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. A series of ring-shaped induction coils with a specific working current are embedded in the roadbed section of the same lane. When a vehicle passes over or stops within the annular buried coil, it intersects with the magnetic flux lines, altering the loop inductance. The detector identifies the vehicle's passage by detecting these inductance changes and transmits the state signal to the vehicle detector. It then compiles and calculates data such as flow rate, speed, time occupancy, and vehicle length. These traffic parameters are subsequently uploaded to the central control system to fulfill the requirements of traffic management.

Connections
The following photo details the connections for the JUTAI Single Channel Loop Detector LD100 and LD102. Typically, pin1 and pin2 connect to the power supply, while pin8 and pin9 connect to loop coils. We recommend using JUTAI Loop Cable Model JTHT-11; pin5 connects to GND. Detailed information is provided in the following connection diagram.
Detector Position and Installation
1. Install the detector within a weatherproof housing.
2. Position the detector as close to the sensing loop as possible.
3. Ensure the detector is installed away from strong magnetic fields.
4. Avoid routing high voltage wires near the loop detectors.
5. Do not mount the detector on vibrating objects.
6. For distances up to 10 meters between the control box and the loop, standard wiring is sufficient. However, if the distance exceeds 10 meters, a 2-core shielded cable is required. Ensure that the maximum distance between the control box and the loop does not exceed 30 meters to maintain optimal functionality.
Loop Installation
The loops are expertly sealed using a quick-setting black epoxy compound or hot bitumen mastic, designed to seamlessly blend with the roadway surface.
During installation, ensure the product plug and socket are kept in a vertical alignment.

The JUTAI LD200/202 double channel loop detectors integrate seamlessly with the JUTAI One door controller (Model: AC-11), JUTAI gate barrier (Model: BR-110), and JUTAI long-range RFID reader (Model: PUHF-9). Paired with high-temperature resistant loop coils (Model: JTHT-11), they offer a perfect solution for single-channel entry/exit access control systems.
The JUTAI LD-100/102 series vehicle detectors feature an expansive sensing range from 15 uh to 2000 uh, adept at detecting a wide variety of vehicles, including small and electric vehicles, motorcycles, cars, trucks, and trailers. For inductance values reaching 2000 uh, a substantial amount of high-temperature wire (Model: JTHT-11) is required, leading to material waste and increased project costs. In practical applications, typically only a 300 uh inductance is necessary. For efficient installation, set up a loop coil 1m wide and 2m long with 8-10 turns, achieving an inductive value capable of detecting various car models. Measure the inductance value with a multimeter, and adjust the coil size based on the parking entry/exit channel dimensions. Smaller coils require more turns, while larger coils require fewer turns, allowing for flexible application to various entrance and exit sizes, thereby enhancing overall installation efficiency.
