To begin the installation process, simply lift the front panel of the photocell, known as the IR-20. Next, insert the cables into their designated housing and securely fix the base to the wall. If you are mounting the photocell on a wall, you will need to drill three 5 ø holes and use suitable screw anchors. For metal mounting, drill three 3 ø holes and use self-tapping screws.
Now, it's time to make the necessary connections. Power the photocells with a voltage ranging from 12-24 VAC or 12-30 VDC. When properly positioned, aligned, and connected, the red LED on the receiver will be off. Each time the ray is interrupted, the red LED will switch on. After making the connections, cover the photocell with the front panel. Insert it until it reaches the stop position and close it. To ensure proper functionality, interrupt the ray several times and check the relay response. Finally, fix the front panels securely using the provided screws.
