When the infrared beam is interrupted, the relay outputs a switch signal, suitable for use in parking barriers, walking gates, vehicle gates as body induction, as well as for anti-burglar detection in windows, doors, and passageways.

Features:
Solitary beam detectors, or single beam sensors, are commonly used in automated sliding doors, shutter doors, garage doors, windows, and other applications. Each unit comprises a transmitter and receiver with an integrated amplifier that emits an infrared beam. This narrow infrared beam (Type I or II) effectively resists external light interference. Even when installed at a low height (20 - 40cm above the ground), these sensors maintain a reliable detection range of 2 - 20 meters. The IR-20 sensor has a self-detecting feature for sliding doors. When the self-detecting beam is interrupted, the door stops closing and quickly retracts to the fully open position. It resumes opening until the detecting beam is restored. After complete closure, the detecting beam deactivates.
Functionality:
Position each detector pair at opposite points to create an infrared zone. Movement within this zone triggers an alarm signal sent to the security alarm host (not included). It is ideal for security systems in educational institutions, commercial buildings, medical facilities, residences, and more. The detection range remains consistent even in bad weather conditions such as rain and dust storms.
The JUTAI IR-20 infrared photo sensor is compact, IP65 waterproof, highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation and abrasive particles, making it extremely durable in outdoor environments. An English usage manual with illustrated diagrams is included for easy installation and setup.

In practical applications, the photocell sensor will choose the appropriate trigger response time, because the response time is too short to cause unnecessary interference. Such as flying birds, falling leaves, etc. will cause false alarms; if the response time is too long, it is easy to form a false alarm, which will lead to no effect.
Installation
1. To open the IR-20, lift the front panel of the photocell.
2. Insert the cables in their housing and fix the base to the wall. If the photocell has to be mounted on a wall, drill the three 5 ø holes and fit suitable screw anchors. If the photocell has to be mounted on metal, drill the three 3 ø holes for fitting with the self_tapping screws.
3. Make the connections. Power the photocells with a voltage that can be 12-24 VAC or 12-30 VDC. If positioning, alignment, and connection have been carried out properly, the red LED on the receiver will be off. Each time the ray is interrupted, the red LED switches on.
4. Cover the photocell with the front panel. Insert to the stop and close it. Interrupt the ray several times checking the relay response.
5. Fix the front panels with the provided screws.
