Features:
Solitary beam detectors, also known as single beam sensors, are indispensable in the automation of sliding doors, shutter doors, garage doors, windows, and more. Each unit consists of a transmitter and receiver with a built-in amplifier that projects an infrared beam. This precision-engineered narrow infrared beam (Type I or II) offers exceptional resistance to external light interference. Even at a low installation height of 20 - 40cm above the ground, these sensors ensure a reliable detection range between 2 - 20 meters. Specifically, the IR-20 sensor boasts a self-detecting mechanism for sliding doors; if the beam is interrupted, the door halts closing and swiftly retracts to the open position, resuming operation once the beam is restored. After full closure, the detecting beam is deactivated for efficiency.
Functionality:
Strategically position each detector pair at opposing points to establish an infrared zone. Any movement within this zone initiates an alarm signal conveyed to the security alarm host (not included). This system is ideal for safeguarding educational institutions, commercial buildings, medical facilities, residences, and more. Notably, the detection range is consistently reliable, even under harsh weather conditions such as rain or dust storms.
The JUTAI IR-20 infrared photo sensor stands out with its compact design and robust IP65 waterproof rating, offering superior resistance to ultraviolet radiation and abrasive particles. This makes it exceptionally durable in outdoor environments. For ease of installation and setup, an English usage manual complete with illustrative diagrams is included.

Application:
In real-world applications, the photocell sensor intelligently selects the optimal trigger response time. A response time that's too short might lead to unwanted triggers from elements such as flying birds or falling leaves, causing false alarms; conversely, a prolonged response time may result in missed detections. Striking the perfect balance is key to achieving effective and accurate operation.

Installation
1. To access the IR-20, gently lift the photocell's front panel.
2. Guide the cables into their designated housing and secure the base to the wall. For wall installations, drill three 5 ø holes and use appropriate screw anchors. For metal surfaces, drill three 3 ø holes for self-tapping screws.
3. Proceed with the connections. Supply power to the photocells using a voltage range of 12-24 VAC or 12-30 VDC. If positioning, alignment, and connections are correctly executed, the red LED on the receiver will remain off. The red LED illuminates whenever the beam is interrupted.
4. Secure the photocell with the front panel. Ensure it is inserted to the stop and closed. Test the relay response by interrupting the beam multiple times.
5. Fasten the front panels firmly with the screws provided.
