The inductive loop vehicle detector, also known as the toroidal coil type vehicle detector, is a traditional and highly reliable traffic detector. Predominantly a buried detection system, it remains the most widely used detection equipment globally.
The embedded toroidal coil type vehicle detector comprises crucial components, including a regulated power supply, oscillating coil, logic circuit, microprocessor, interface, driving circuit, signal output circuit, and induction coil, among others.
Loop Detector with Extensive Sensing Range
JUTAI LD-100/102 series vehicle detectors boast an extensive sensing range, from 15 uh to 2000 uh, effortlessly detecting both large and small vehicles, including electric vehicles, motorcycles, conventional cars, trucks, and trailers. However, if the loop coils value reaches 2000 uh, significant high-temperature wire (Model: JTHT-11) is required, leading to material waste and increased hardware costs. In practical applications, the inductance is usually set to around 300 uh with a coil size of 1 meter wide and 2 meters long. For optimal detection, we recommend 8-10 turns, which can easily identify various vehicle types. For rapid installation, first create a loop coil (1m wide, 2m long with 10 turns), use a multimeter to measure the inductance, and adjust the coil size as needed based on the parking entry/exit channel's dimensions. JUTAI's innovative vehicle detector offers unparalleled fault detection output. When the loop detector identifies a coil fault or any other fault factor (excluding relay faults), the B relay can emit a signal, triggering the connected warning light to flash or sound an alarm. This serves as a timely reminder for dimensional adjustments or replacements. After a few minutes, the B relay will automatically reset, allowing the loop detector to continue functioning. This feature enables customers to plan maintenance or replacement work at their convenience. Unlike many similar products in the market that cease operation upon detecting a fault and necessitate immediate maintenance, our design minimizes customer complaints and reduces high after-sales maintenance costs, thereby enhancing reputation and user satisfaction.
Detector Position And Installation
1. Install the detector in a weatherproof housing to ensure longevity and performance.
2. Position the detector as close to the sensing loop as possible for optimal detection accuracy.
3. Always install the detector away from strong magnetic fields to avoid interference.
4. Avoid running high voltage wires near the loop detectors to prevent operational issues.
5. Do not install the detector on vibrating objects to maintain stability and functionality.
6. If the control box is within 10 meters of the loop, standard wires suffice for connection. For distances greater than 10 meters, use a 2-core shielded cable. Do not exceed 30 meters between the control box and the loop.
