The Traffic Sensor/Loop Detector/Vehicle Radar Sensor is a cutting-edge solution tailored for Barrier Gate systems in Parking Systems. Harnessing state-of-the-art Microwave Sensor Radar technology, it delivers unparalleled accuracy in detecting vehicle presence and motion. This makes it perfect for a wide range of applications including Automatic Sliding Doors, Industrial Doors, Boom Barriers, Automatic Gates, and Access Control Systems. The sensor ensures precise Vehicle Detection, enhancing the efficiency and security of parking facilities. With advanced features like Vehicle Access Control, Reverse Parking Sensor capabilities, and seamless integration with Parking Sensor Systems, this sensor is an indispensable component for any B2B parking management solution.

How To Install The Radar Detector
1. Choose a power adapter with an output of 8-40VDC 1A.
2. If using a gate for power supply, ensure the output current is at least 200mA.
3. For lane applications, the optimal height between the radar center and the ground is 50-60cm.
4. Maintain a distance of at least 25cm from the radar center to the fence pole for an octagonal fence and 30cm for a right-angle fence.
5. Ensure the radar installation surface is parallel to the ground and securely fixed.
6. The ground within the detection range should be flat and obstacle-free. If the angle between the passing vehicle and the radar exceeds 30 degrees, set up road barriers to guide the vehicle.

How to Program and Save Parameters
Step 1: Enter the menu by pressing and holding the function key until the desired menu number is selected, then release the key. The corresponding parameter light will turn on.
Step 2: Adjust parameters by using the jog function key.
Step 3: Save parameters by pressing the function key frequently, then release it when the red indicator lights 1, 2, and 3 flash simultaneously. The parameters will be changed and saved.

Quick Setting

1. Straight Lane Application Settings (Only 2 steps needed).

Step 1: Set the application scene to straight rod mode (Menu6).
The second step: Configure the detection distance (Menu1).

2. Fence Pole Barrier Application Settings (Only 3 Steps Needed).

The first step: Configure the application scenario to fence mode (Menu6).
The second step: Configure the detection distance (Menu1).
The third step: Set the brake speed to 1 second (Menu3).

3. Trigger Mode Application Settings (Just 3 Simple Steps).

The first step: Set the application scenario to trigger mode (Menu).
The second step: Configure the detection distance (Menu1).
The third step: Configure the reply output method (Menu5).
Optimize Radar Detector Settings (Choose the Right Settings).
1. Sensitivity Setting: For electric vehicles, a medium or low setting is recommended. For pedestrian passage, set it to medium or high. For shooting situations, you can set one to medium and the other to high or low.
2. Pedestrian and Vehicle Distinction Setting: It is strongly recommended to set the distinction between pedestrians and vehicles in necessary situations. For electric vehicle passage or pedestrian passage, set to 'No distinction between pedestrians and vehicles'. Otherwise, set to 'Distinction between pedestrians and vehicles' to prevent accidents caused by non-vehicle passage.
How To Debug On Site?
1. Straight Lane Mode

When the brake lever is raised, trigger the radar with the palm of your hand at a close range, and the gate will automatically close after you leave. Within the set detection distance, the brake lever will rebound when a person approaches. The brake lever will close automatically when the person moves away. This can change the closing speed parameter of high-speed gates. The radar's response speed is adjustable.

2. Fence Lane Mode

If the remote control gate opens and closes repeatedly, the fence will not trigger the radar. Test in the same way as the straight lane mode.

(If the radar in any above steps is triggered by the fence itself, refer to Section 12 'General Faults Rule 1 Elimination').

3. Trigger Mode

Refer to the debugging method of the straight lane mode.

General Troubleshooting
1.The radar is triggered by the fence itself during opening or closing.

1.1 Ensure the distance between the radar and the center of the fence meets requirements and that the radar installation surface is perpendicular to the fence. Adjust the installation position or add a 2-4mm spacer on the side of the radar close to the fence.

1.2 Check if the set opening speed is greater than the actual closing speed.

1.3 If there is no distinction between people and vehicles, and it is necessary to set this distinction, lower the sensitivity by one level.

2. Radar output has not been reset.

If the set distance exceeds the lane width, or a foreign object is detected on the ground, or the radar is not installed vertically, troubleshooting is required. If the issue persists, please navigate to menu 2. When the 3 green lights flash simultaneously, press the function key to initiate 'Radar Initialization.' Once initialization is complete, power the system on again.

3. All three indicator lights remain illuminated after the radar powers on.

If the radar remains non-functional even after repeated restarts and initialization, please return the unit to the factory for a comprehensive inspection.

4. Indicators for green lights number 1 and number 3 are flashing.

This occurs when the radar detects that the gate has been triggered.

When the gate is closed or a rebound signal is detected at the edge of the X beam, the radar may fail to differentiate.

If there is a fence or vehicle present, the gate will close after it opens or if no vehicle passes the lane post-signal disappearance. This is a safety feature to prevent rear-collision and does not require further action.
