Features:
Solitary beam detectors, commonly referred to as single beam sensors, dominate applications in automated sliding doors, shutter doors, garage doors, windows, and more. Each unit fantastically includes a transmitter and receiver with an integrated amplifier that emits a sharp infrared beam. This beam, whether Type I or II, expertly resists external light disturbances. Even positioned at a low height of 20-40cm above ground, these sensors deliver a dependable detection range of 2-20 meters. With the IR-20 sensor's self-detecting design, sliding doors halt and retract to a full open state if the beam is disrupted, resuming only when the beam is cleared. Post-closure, the detecting beam is deactivated.
Functionality:
Strategically place each detector pair to create an infrared zone across your space. Any movement in this zone triggers an alarm signal directed to your security system (alarm host not included). Perfect for security systems in schools, commercial centers, healthcare facilities, and homes, this system ensures steadfast detection even amidst adverse weather like rain and dust storms.

In real-world applications, the photocell sensor adeptly chooses the optimal trigger response time to avoid unnecessary interference. A response time set too short may cause false alarms from birds or leaves, whereas a time too long might render the system ineffective.
Installation
1. To access the IR-20, gently lift the front panel of the photocell.
2. Insert the cables into their allocated spaces and affix the base securely to the wall. For wall mounting, drill three 5 ø holes and use appropriate screw anchors. For metal surfaces, drill three 3 ø holes and secure with the included self-tapping screws.
3. Complete the connections by powering the photocells with a voltage ranging from 12-24 VAC or 12-30 VDC. Correct positioning, alignment, and connection will result in the red LED on the receiver remaining off. The LED lights up each time the beam is disrupted.
4. Encase the photocell with the front panel. Firmly insert it until secure, then close it. Test the relay response by interrupting the beam multiple times.
5. Firmly secure the front panels using the supplied screws.
