Product Description: IR-20 Photocell Installation Instructions

Installation

1. Open the IR-20 by lifting the front panel of the photocell.
2. Insert the cables into their housing and securely fix the base to the wall. For wall mounting, drill three 5 ø holes and use suitable screw anchors. For metal mounting, drill three 3 ø holes for self-tapping screws.
3. Make the connections. Power the photocells with a voltage range of 12-24 VAC or 12-30 VDC. Proper positioning, alignment, and connection will result in the red LED on the receiver being off. The red LED will switch on each time the ray is interrupted.
4. Cover the photocell with the front panel, insert it to the stop, and close it. Test the relay response by interrupting the ray several times.
5. Secure the front panels with the provided screws.
