The ground-sensing toroidal coil type vehicle detector is a traditional traffic detection system, primarily a buried detection system, and it is currently the most widely used detection equipment in the world.
The embedded toroidal coil type vehicle detector consists of a regulated power supply, an oscillating coil, a logic circuit, a microprocessor, an interface, a driving circuit, a signal output circuit, and an induction coil, among other components.
Loop Detector With Large Sensing Range
The JUTAI LD-100/102 series vehicle detectors boast a substantial sensing range, adaptable from 15 uh to 2000 uh. This flexibility enables the detection of a wide array of vehicles, including small electric cars, motorcycles, conventional cars, trucks, and trailers. However, utilizing a loop coil value of 2000 uh necessitates a significant amount of high-temperature wire (Model: JTHT-11), leading to material waste and increased project costs. Typically, an inductance setting of around 300 uh, with a coil size of 1 meter wide by 2 meters long, is sufficient. We recommend 8-10 turns to detect various vehicle types effectively. For rapid installation, first create a loop coil of 1m width and 2m length with 10 turns, measure the inductance value with a multimeter, and adjust the coil size based on the parking entry/exit channel size. If the coil diameter is smaller, increase the number of turns; if larger, decrease the turns. Fault Detection Function:
The JUTAI Vehicle Detector stands out with its innovative fault detection output. When the loop detector identifies a coil fault or other issues (excluding relay faults), the B relay emits a signal, causing the connected warning light to flash or alarm. After a few minutes, the B relay automatically resets, allowing the loop detector to resume operation. This feature grants customers additional time to schedule replacement or maintenance, avoiding immediate disruptions. Unlike most market alternatives that halt operations upon detecting faults, our detector ensures continued functionality, significantly reducing end-user complaints and lowering the installer's after-sales maintenance costs and potential reputational damage.
Detector Position And Installation
1. Install the detector in a weatherproof housing.
2. Position the detector as close to the sensing loop as possible.
3. Ensure the detector is installed away from strong magnetic fields.
4. Avoid running high voltage wires near the loop detectors.
5. Do not install the detector on vibrating objects.
6. For control boxes within 10 meters of the loop, standard wires can connect to the loop. Beyond 10 meters, use a 2-core shielded cable. Ensure the distance between the control box and loop does not exceed 30 meters.
